Who we are?
A non-profit organization that connects lonely and needy elderly people with a community of volunteers who take care of them by providing a hot Shabbat dinner and ongoing human interaction.
How does it work?
We create groups of 4 volunteers who care for 2 elderly people.
Once a month, each team member prepares a home-cooked meal for their two elderly and delivers it themselves.
Eldely and volunteers share their stories
"I am a Holocaust survivor, a few years ago my husband passed away, I loved him very much all my life but I did not make other connections, and when he passed away I suddenly found myself alone without friends.
Thanks to heart to plate, now a lot of people visit me every week and are today for me like a family. I really love Israel and thank you! "
